Belgium secured the first place in the Pool with 9 points, while Poland stayed on 6 which was not enough to be among two best placed second teams overall. Serbia and Netherlands had one point more.
Speaking of Netherlands, defeat against Croatia was a sweet one. Result was 3-2 (25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 22-25, 16-14) for Croatia, but that one point did the trick for Dutch side.
So, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Bulgaria and Belgium advanced to the WCH by finishing first in their Pools, while Serbia and Netherlands passed as the two best second placed teams.
