Dominican coach Marcos Kwiek: “Today we started very slow. We admitted that Thai team’s performance was very strong, while their team can’t manage the served balls very well. Their team had many errors today. However, we would like to congratulate the Thai team for today’s performance.”

Dominican captain Bethania De La Cruz De Pena: “Congratulations to Thai team. Today we didn’t start very well and had many errors.”

Thailand coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai: “I would like to thank all the volleyball fans today. I also want to thank my team and staffs. Today was not an easy game. I admired Domonican’s team spirit. They are very competent players but I think they still might be tired from the long trip. I wish Dominican team were successful in the upcoming matches.”

Thailand captain Wilavan Apinyapong: “I feel very happy today to win this game. This is not an easy game to win, we had many errors and lost many points continuously. There are many things we need to improve from this match. The Thai volleyball fans encouraged us in the hall which was a big advantage. We have to study today’s match and prepare for the game with USA tomorrow.”
