Serbia is always a very difficult opponent, said Brazilian coach Zé Roberto after their 3-1 (24-26, 25-21, 25-19, 25-23) victory over Serbia on the fifth day in the Pool B final match of the Women’s World Championship 2014 at PalaTrieste on Sunday evening.

Brazilian coach Zé Roberto:  I am happy about how the match went. Playing against Serbia is always very difficult. In the first and fourth set we had some critical moments but managed to recuperate. Now we must concentrate on the teams in the next round

Brazilian captain Fabiana Claudino: Even though we have made mistakes our game improved when we made better blocks and attacks. We must work hard from now on to get where we want to go.

Serbian coach Zoran Terzić: Congratulations to Brazil, they played very well to win this match. We had many chances, I am sad we gave away easy points. It is important for us to know that we can play against the best teams in the world.

Serbian captain Maja Ognjenović: I am happy that my team played well in such an important match. But on the other hand there is no time to be sad. Now we must think about our next games.
