UNTREF – Boca
UNTREF Volley started better, taking advantage of the efficiency of its opposite, Andres Martinez, and errors of Boca Rio Uruguay Seguros (8-4). The locals increased their lead (16-9). The guests reduced the gap, but the hosts won the set (25-21).
The second set began balanced, with visitors coming up (6-8). On the second tehnical time out it was five poitns difference (11-16). After that it was all Boca which won the second set (15-25).
The third set began evenly, the hosts were leading (8-7). Boca took advantage of two UNTREF errors to get up on the scoreboard (14-16). In a close finish the hosts took their chances and won (27-25).
Boca started with a lead in the fourts (5-8). However, a series of errors allowed the locals to take back the lead (16-13). Boca lost their concentration in the end and UNTREF won (25-19).
Ricardo de Paula and Alejandro Toro were the top scorers with 15 points each.
