Argentina: Untref and Ciclista, the semifinalists of the Series A2 for Men

In the absence of a weekend, both teams have already qualified for the finals. Meanwhile, Obras de San Juan, Pescadores de Gualeguaychú and Ciudad de Buenos Aires are meeting in the Grand Prix after their victories in the final round, while Lanus, Chovet and UPCN Chubut (all with 17 points) battle for the remaining place.



Obras and Ciudad secured their places in the Grand Prix 2011/2012 

The whole San Juan defeated Lunus 3-0 (25-23, 25-20 and 30-28) in the “Antonio Rotilli” while “Muni” did the same against Ciclista Olympica, also in the consecutive sets (25-19, 27-25 and 25-15).

Both entered the final phases of the tournament. 

Pescadores defeated UPCN Chubut and classified for the final stages

The whole team achieved a big triumph over the Chubut 3-2 (26-28, 25-19, 25-16, 21-25 and 15-11) and after more than two hours of the match thus managed to enter the Grand Prix.

The pointer of the Minor Selection won with 3-0 (27-25, 25-15 and 25-14) and it needs six points in the play to takes three to Ciclista.

Meanwhile, UPCN Chubut defeated Chovet with 3-1 (22-25, 28-26, 25-22 and 25-16) and kept the intention of reaching the final stages. 

Ciclista failed to reach the top and Ciudad directly defeated the rival 

El “Granate” has defeated Santiagueños 3-2 and reached the sixth position and due to this, at this moment, will enter the Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, Ciudad de Buenos Aires has beaten Obras and each time is much closer to playing in the final stages of the tournament.
