ARG M: The Grass-Root A1 national team getting ready

The Argentine National grass-root Team with some local reinforcements, that will participate as development goal of the Argentine A1 Seniors' Men League as part of the project signed by the Argentine Volleyball Federation and Club Olimpo from Bahia Blanca is getting its hape with names starting to show up as part of the reinforcements of the juniors' team that will be included at the most important national competition.

The project, signed on a four-year long lasting plan, will also try to install Bahia Blanca as one of the main venues for developing volleyball all together in the region. Some of the players that participated at the Youth’s Boys World Championship 2011 will return to Bahia Blanca as part of this important team.

The coach, for example will be Fabián Muraco, coach of that Argentine team that finished fifth at the World Championship that ended in this Buenos Aires province city overcoming Greece and Bulgaria among other important teams. But also, those players that today are Juniors’ will participate of the newly A1 team and they are: Martín Weber, Gonzalo Lapera, Alejandro Araya, Mauro Llanos, Ramiro Núñez and Luciano Zornetta.

Among the reinforcements that also were part of different Argentine light blue – white teams are the middle players Gustavo Porporatto and Aníbal Gramaglia, both part of the Seniors’ World Championship 2006. Porporatto is also one of the Olympic Games 2004 Argentine players.

Damián Villalba, also has Olympic experience but as part of the Argentine Youth Team at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapure. This opposite player will be playing mate of Cristian Imhoff, Rodrigo Villalba, Sebastián Deppiaggi and Juan Pablo Alanis among others.
