Filip Rejlek was the top scorer and one of the major contributers to the win with 18 points. Marcelo Elgarten Marcelinho was awarded the Viva Volei Trophy after the game.
“Our team works very hard, all players are great, we all help one another, whether the trophy is for me, I share it with everyone. I am really happy to participate in the Superliga semifinal once again. This result is crowning our work and will still can get more.” Marcelinho said.
The experienced Vivo MINAS setter, silver medalist in the Olympics 2008, worries about the semifinal clash.
“It will be a very tough series. RJX has a great coach who knows me very well, knows our team and is very competent. Now we have to pump the adrenaline and study their team well because, for sure, it will be very hard” Marcelinho finished.
