PAC: Brazil returned on top of Pan American volleyball

Brazil returned to the top of the Americas’ volleyball as the team coached by Leonaldo Roberley won the gold medal at VIII Men’s Pan American Cup after beating host team Mexico 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-17).

Isac Viana Santos was the best scorer for Brazil with 13 points while Mauricio Luiz De Souza registered 12. Mexican Jesus Valdez was the top scorer of the match with 15.

The last time Brazil won a Pan American title was in 2011 against USA. This is the first time Mexico wins a silver medal, and the second one in reaching the podium after winning the cup in 2007 against Puerto Rico.
