When the game was in the second set, with the first having won by Molico/Osasco, Thaísa stopped an attack from São Caetano player Mara with a block. Afterwards, she turned to the stands and put her hand on ears, like she is asking to hear the screams of the crowd.

By the time Thaísa made the gesture, the gymnasium in São Caetano was taken over by boos in the stands, which remained until the end of the game. The player was warned by the referee for her gesture.

Interestingly, the match ended precisely with a point from Thaísa. When the player was booed a lot, she made an ace and decided the duel – 3-0 in favor of Molico/Osasco and scored 17th point that made her the most efficient particpant of the match.

Srsly? Brazilians? Brazilian players are talented and it is what makes Brazil difficult to beat, unlike those with only one or two excellent players in a team.
