BRA M: Douglas Alves Cordeiro ends volleyball career!

Experienced middle blocker Douglas Alves Cordeiro said goodbye to volleyball court! At age 36, he decided to retire, confirms his manager Geraldo Maciel!

In April this year, Douglas left Sada Cruzeiro after wearing a jersey of this team for seven consecutive seasons.

Now, I have to do some private business. My projects revolve more around the beverage industry. Also, I have a dream of setting up the social projects that includes several sports and meets children and adolescents of Noronha. One day I’ll get there” says Douglas.

Douglas Alves Cordeiro had many great moments during his time with Sada Cruzeiro. He won the Club’s World Championship (2013), two South American Championships (2012, 2014) and three Brazilian Championships (2012, 2014, 2015).
