Brazilian volleyball fans are eager to find out the decision of Bernardo Rezende regarding his future in the Men’s National Team. According to the interview he gave to “Globo Esporte”, they will have to wait, at least, until the beginning of January 2017.

“End of year is always a moment of reflection, of decision making, alignment of new goals. Certainly, I will have a week to think about it all, to set goals for the coming years, for the next cycle. To reflect on what was in the past, but imagining how the future will be soon, what kind of challenge moves me, what kind of dream. That’s the most important. And somehow to share it with people… This is very important,” ‘Bernardinho’ said to “Globo Esporte”.

“Pressure to make a decision is huge. But right now, I have other things on my mind. Of course, these days will be decisive. I’m going to have a meeting with the guys (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation). But I confess, I have some family issues. My father is not very well and it takes a lot more of my time, my energy, my feelings. The pressure is enormous, of course. If they decide to let me go, no problem. I have more serious problems today. Of course, this is very serious, but there are other things taking my attention and my focus. My time will be my time. I’m still working. I had a meeting with Rubinho (assistant), three days ago (Sunday) in São Paulo, about national team. We talked about the project,” Rexona-Sesc and, still, Brazilian Men’s NT head coach added.
