Lipe and Lucarelli
Recall that Rezende decided to leave the coaching position in Brazil men’s national team after 16 years. This is what his players said about him.
“Thank you Boss,” started his message Felipe Fonteles. “So many years of your maximum dedication has made our team one of the best in the world. You finished the journey by winning the Olympic gold at home, so not anyone can ever doubt your knowledge. Thank you for helping us to fulfill our dreams, thank you for helping us grow as players and as people.”

“Thank you Professor,” was the first thing William Arjona wrote in his message. “No doubt that the overall level of professionalism, along with ability to understand your players and with a bit of your ‘madness’ define you as one of the greatest volleyball coaches of all time. Thank you for the opportunity you gave me and for numerous conversations we have had over the years. I wish you good luck and lot of success in what lies ahead of you.”
