Sada Cruzeiro showed a champion’s gene to destroy the halo of elimination and reduce the lead of No.2 Taubaté in the series of the 2017/18 Superliga playoff semifinals to a 2-1.
But still, Taubaté will have the chance to kick out the titleholders in front of home crowd in the next encounter which is scheduled for April 18.
Evandro Guerra and Yoandy Leal topped Cruzeiro in Game 3 with 14 points apiece.
