On Friday Thaisa Daher De Menezes got a call from coach Ze Roberto to join the team (check the list):
“After a year which was the most difficult in my life, to be part of the national squad list makes me very happy. Maybe it’s more valuable now because I’ve been listening for months that I will never play volleyball again. Go back and be invited to the team is an indescribable sensation” says Thaisa.
Officially she is a member of Eczacibasi Vitra but she was on loan at Hinode Barueri. In February, she made her debut for the team:
“I know I have a long way to go back to the top level, but today I know that I have the best and biggest professionals next to me giving me support for that.“

Lol thaisa if ze roberto picks the women for the NT based on the perfomance this year u wouldnt in that team for sure, but u have internationally experience and he respect u even if dont are in the best shapes, but i hope u play well, i saw last game of baurin the women superleague and u knee doesnt look good at all. so Good Luck

Thaisa looked very good for someone who`s coming back from a terrible injury. She will certainly be at the World Championship.
Thasia is a very well respect player and Jordan Larson misses her! We’re praying for at least a 95% recovery for Vitra they want her. I did see her play in Brazil but just a few minutes. I didn’t notice anything but the brace on her knee. Tatory Dixon was told she would never play again look she’s doing excellent playing with Monz in Italy. Both ladies are great Tory of course a USA player is a need for team USA. God Bless both ladies as we’re praying for full recoveries for both.
