Canada have managed to beat Italy, even though they were trailing by one after the first set. Stephane Antiga’s side has made a turnaround by winning the next three sets 20-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-22.

Stephen Maar was the top scorer of the game with 20 points while Iacopo Botto had 14 points on the other side.

Canada are now in the fourth place, but all depends on other national teams. If Belgium, Russia, Bulgaria and Poland score victories today, Canada won’t go to the F6. Antiga’s side needs to see at least two of these four teams losing a game in the last round.
