GP 2017: Japan and Shinnabe shook Thailand

Japan opened the Week 2 of the FIVB World Grand Prix with a four set against Thailand (25-19, 17-25, 25-18, 25-19).

Risa Shinnabe led the hosts with 20 points while Sarina Koga scored 18 points.

On the Thai side, the blockers were the best. Ajcharaporn Kongyot scored 15 points while her teammate Pleumjit Thinkaow added 11 through the middle.

Japan showed better disposition at the service line, scoring 8 points in comparison to Thailand’s 3. 

After this match, Thailand are still without a victory while Japan have 3-1.
