Commiting Evan Barry to the club, evivo Düren has completed its planning for the senior team for the upcoming season.

According to the club’s info, Barry is the eighth and final new addition to the team. The 1.92 meter setter will have compatriot Ciaran McGovern as a rival for a place in the starting lineup.

“We want to have strong competition for each position,” said coach Michael Mücke about team tactics. “Barry plays fast and technically strong,” Mücke added.

A 23-year-old Barry brought his university team to third place in the U.S. High school league in 2012. Recently Barry played for the Swedish club Örkelljunga Volley.
