The Greek national team was defeated by Belgium in the first friendly match, 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-23). Costas Christofidelis didn’t feel well so he skipped the match, while the other players got playing time.

In the first and second sets, the Greek team was not able to “follow” the score, as the Belgians escaped and got comfortable in prevalence.
In the third set, the Greeks ‘clicked’ better on the court, had some moments of the lead (16-15), but the finale did not last and were defeated 3-0 in sets.
The second friendly game between the two teams will be on Saturday at 21:30 and third on Sunday at 17:00.
