Plamen Hristov has resigned from the position of AEK head coach after only eight games at the helm of Athens giant. Bulgarian expert acquired only one win with AEK and had seven defeats.
“I am leaving because I think that current problems can’t let us achieve what we want. Club’s officials made great effort in the last two weeks, however it was simply impossible to resolve all problems. I hope that AEK will manage to remain in the Superleague” said Hristov.
Recall that previously club stayed without Jorge Elgueta and Giorgos Klaroudas, so Hristov is the third coach who decided to leave Athens. AEK will now start looking for the fourth head coach in this season! Is this some record?
