“I would like to thank the clubs primarily for their participation in the General Assembly, which justifies our choice to bring the elections to Volos. This result shows that the clubs appreciate the efforts we made for the good of the sport in the last couple of difficult years. At the same time they also make us responsible for steering the Federation for the next four years under the principles we proclaim” said Mavromatis (pictured) after his re-election. “Starting from tomorrow morning a new chapter in the history of Greek Volleyball begins. We must leave behind the tensions and disagreements, heal the wounds and support the sport with the help of everyone who really loves it. I would like to thank my colleagues within and outside the Board for the coordinated effort that brought this result”.
Before the start of the elections, the delegates voted and approved by majority the administrative and financial balance of the HVBF.
