The newcomers to the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile and a team with no foreign players in the roster, Delta Despar Trentino, kept presenting themselves as the most pleasant surprise of the 2020/21 regular season. They noted the third success in four games, settling in the charts just behind the leaders Imoco Volley Conegliano.

In Round 4, Trentino downed the biggest disappointment of the season in Italy, Zenatti Bergamo (0-4), by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-15). Vittoria Piani led the winning side in scoring with 17 points. Eleonora Furlan was amazing in blocking (7), while Silvia Fondriest made a 71 % attack (10/14).

Imoco are at the top (4-0) after sweeping Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia, while Savino Del Bene Scandicci had no problems on the road against Il Bisonte Firenze and reached a 3-1 record.
