Imoco Volley Conegliano are a true phenomenon in the women’s world club volleyball this season as they finished 2020 with no defeat.

Imoco Volley Conegliano have recorded the 15th successive win in the 2020/21 Italian Women’s Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season, 38th counting all competitions! They recently celebrated the anniversary without a single defeat. It is more than a year without defeat. In the 17th round, the reigning champions swept last-placed Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia: 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-17).

In the absence of Egonu, Sylla, De Kruijf, and Folie, the top scorer for the league leaders today was Sarah Fahr with 14 points, including 4 aces. Croatian Božana Butigan made 5 aces, while Monica De Gennaro had 76 % reception.

Igor Gorgonzola Novara, the vice-leaders, earned the seventh win in a row in Serie A, 10th in a row including all competitions. In the match of the 24th round, played in advance, they defeated Il Bizonte Firenze in straight sets. Belgian Britt Herbots highlighted Novara with 19 points.

These two matches closed 2020 when it comes to the women’s national championship in Italy.
