Vibo take on more and more green and gold colors. The second and third Brazilian arrived to reinforce the roster that will compete in the 2021/22 Italian SuperLega.

After the Rio 2016 champion Maurício Borges, Vibo hired one more guy from the squad that made this Olympic success for Brazil – Douglas Souza. The 25-year-old openly gay athlete, Best Outside Spiker at the last FIVB World Championships as well as at the 2015 Pan American Games, came to Vibo from EMS Taubaté Funvic. With them, Douglas won the two championship titles in a row in three seasons.

Also, the strong middle blocker Flávio Gualberto joined the Calabrian club. A 28-year-old did not come to Vibo with an aureole of a Rio Olympic champion but of a winner of the 2019 FIVB World Cup and of a two-time Best Middle Blocker of the Pan American Cup. Flávio spent the last season in Poland, competing for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.See our sections – Transfers – Done Deals and Transfers – Rumors.
