Relying on American Aaron Russell (33 points, including 5 aces) and his compatriot Maxwell Holt (4 blocks), Piacenza came back from a 2-set deficit to tie the series at 1-1. The match seemed it’ll never end (it lasted for nearly two and a half hours), with the tie-break that had a total of points like a normal set (24-22), ending in 35 minutes.
