Applauses in Naples for the squad led by Marco Bonitta. Italy won both friendly games against Germany and showed that they are ready for the European Championship 2015.
After a straight sets win on Saturday, this time Italy needed a bit more time to overpower big rival – 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16). The top scorer in the home team was Indre Sorokaite with 17 points, while Cristina Chirichella added 13. On the other side, Maren Brinker made 15 points for Germany, while Margareta Kozuch collected 13.
