Upon winning the title of Serie A1 for the first time in 14 years, the President of Modena, Catia Pedrini, thanked the fans, calling them as an eighth player on the court but also appealed to their generosity for keeping the squad together in 2016/2017.
Thus, the club started a crowdfunding campaign, trying to retain and improve their roster. As the term for registering the players for the next season expires on May 31, the campaign will run until May 30. According to the calculations, the sum of 1,000,000 euros is necessary to be collected.
So far, two players left Modena – Brazilians Bruno and Thiago Sens.

thats really sad modena will never be the same without bruno 🙁
i feel bad for modena 3 titles and no sponsor want to take risk wow, seriously and they just let bruno go just like that, modena will never be the same cause of a new setter its like a they start all over again
look modena did this last season they went to japan and get a new sponsor remember when they have ishikawa. why not do it again a chinese or a japan sponsor again if they already knew they will have a problem to keep their roster they should make some moves before bruno sign a deal with SESI
@dee jae69 There were many rumours about Bruno and Lucao a few months ago so it’s sure they have signed the contract to go back in Brasil then. But I agree with you, they had to do some moves earlier. There is also one more important question: they signed new contract with Ngapeth but how are they going to fulfill it if they don’t have money for next season? Can they sell him?
Gianeli is better than Bruno. Gianneli is the most wanted setter in the world but he knows that trentino is the place where he can to win all trophies
it’s not like that… they’re collecting funds to register for new season of Serie A. money for contracts is a different thing. and I personally can’t imagine the situation when players would find out that their club has so big problems that must start a crowdfunding campaign to be able to pay them. immediately most of them would leave!
