Andrea Galliani made 10 for Spoleto.
Taiwan Excellence Latina (ex-Top Volley Latina) from Serie A1 won the 9th Memorial Nonno Gino in Sora by beating Division 2 club Caloni Agnelli Bergamo in straight sets, partially 25-19, 25-21, 25-16, in the finals. The Serbian Saša Starović scored 13 points for Latina.
In their first pre-season game, another Italian Serie A1 side Calzedonia Verona tied with the Japanese V-League club JT Thunders 2-2 (15-25, 13-25, 25-20, 25-16).
