Revivre Milano, who had a brilliant start of the season in an Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship Serie A1 before spoiling a good impression in the last two rounds, will have to play the next few games without two starters.

The setter Riccardo Sbertoli and libero Fabio Fanuli both left the court before the end of the game against Sir Safety Conad Perugia, last night, due to injuries.

As Milano’s medical staff reported, Sbertoli suffered a fracture of the fifth left metatarsal bone, as he landed poorly after a jump, and recovery time for him is estimated to 6-8 weeks.

Fanuli, on the other hand, has torn the left medial meniscus due to a heavy pressure on his knee while making a defense. A recovery time for him is yet to be determined since he will undergo further examinations that will be carried out in the next few days.
