A 25-year-old former Italian National Team member Giulia Pisani will join Filottrano as she announced it via Twitter. She will arrive instead of injured Asia Cogliandro, who tore an anterior cruciate ligament in October.
The middle blocker Pisani has been without a club since the end of the last season after she parted ways with Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio for which she performed five years in a row and won the national championship, national Cup, and Cev Cup in the 2011/2012, and the national Supercup in the following season. Pisani claimed two titles while competing for the youth categories of an Italian national team: in the 2010 CEV U19 European Championship and 2011 FIVB U20 World Championship). So far, she made 135 appearances in Serie A, scoring 661 points.
Filottrano will not be able to register before January 8.
In an exclusive interview for WorldofVolley, Pisani has spoken on how she prepared for the season.
