The U.S. Volleyball Federation (USAV) urged clubs across the world in which its players compete to let them return to the country.

The USAV sent a letter that was signed by its CEO Jamie Davis in which it urged clubs that have American players to assist them to return home as soon as possible. Most of the girls playing in Italy, where the biggest coronavirus outbreak in Europe has occurred, have already taken the plane to return to the United States. Some men’s players (Anderson, Christenson…) as well.

The women’s national team head coach Karch Kiraly personally called players back home and advised them to consult with their agents on the matter.
