KGC Ginseng Corporation defeated Hyundai E&C Hillstate in Round 27 of the 2020/21 Korean Women’s Dodram V-League regular season and escaped from the last position in the charts to which their today’s rivals have just fallen. Partially, it was 3-2 (25-21, 29-31, 25-16, 20-25, 15-12) for the team from Daejeon.
The Italian international Valentina Diouf presented the magnificent display on the winning side, notching as many as 54 points! This put her in 6th position on the unofficial world all-time list of the best single-game scorers. Han Song-Yi set up 6 blocks. Belgian Hélène Rousseaux scored 27 points for Hyundai, while Jeong Ji-Yun made 8 blocks.
