Alessandro Chiappini
After not qualifying for EuroVolley 2021, the Executive Board of the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia decided to terminate contract with Italian expert.
With Slovenia, Alessandro Chiappini won a silver medal at the U23 FIVB World Championships, hosted by Slovenia, and qualified for EuroVolley 2019. However, it is worth mentioning that with the Slovenian coach Bruno Najdić, national team qualified for EuroVolley 2015, where only 16 teams participated (since 2019, 24 teams participate in the EuroVolley finals).
In the Silver European league, the national team will be led by Chiappini assistant, Gregor Rozman.
