WCHJ M: Estonia jumped over Venezuela to finish 17th

Estonia cruised past Venezuela in straight sets 25-22, 25-21, 25-15 in the third and last day of the round robin classification tournament for 17 to 20th positions at FIVB Men's U21 World Championship at “Ataturk Hall” in Izmir, Turkey.

Estonia secured with this victory the 17th position with a win- loss ratio of 3-0 in the classification tournament and they improved their total competition record to 4-3.

Venezuela dropped to 1-2 in the final tournament and 1-6 in the whole competition and their position will be determined according to last match between Morocco and Rwanda.

The outstanding performance of Estonia‘s outside hitter Robert Taht was a key factor in the victory as he sent his sharp hits which were unstoppable for the Venezuelan defence or blockers. He scored 19 points as his team scorer including 2 dying blocks and 1 ace service. He was followed by Renee Teppan 13 points.

From the Venezuelan side, Roberth Abreu and Jose Martinez led the scorers with 10 points each.
