The Press conference has been organized regarding to this success, and head coach of Serbia Igor Kolaković has expressed his feelings after European Championship 2013.
“We are back from big event. Volleyball broke the limits, and from hall we went to play on football stadium. We had doubts about it, in the beginning it was cold but later we realized that all what happened in Denmark were on top level. Incredible fans were active all the time and supported every team without any sign of bad words. The key moment for us was the match against Netherlands. After defeat against Slovenia and two sets of deficit vs. Netherlands, I asked myself what we’ve done in the period behind us. I felt like we were trapped in the dark basement. But, surprisingly, in the third set, some kind of energy from the bench made us to play a lot better and we found the way out from the basement” said Kolaković.
