Rennes entered the history of French volleyball by winning 1. trophy.
It beat Beauvais 3:0 in the final match of French Cup.

Without Vadeleux, the team of the coach Boris and the libero Jenia Grebennikov took the victory.

The plyers of Rennes were leading 16:12 to 2. technical timeout and then closed the set with 25:20.

The game was more balanced in 2. set, but Pupart scored 3. set point (12 points) and Rennes won with 26:24.

In 3. set the result was even until 20:20. However, Rennes took the lead and won the set with 25:22.

Unlike past seasons Rennes did not qualify for the Champions League , but only for the Challenge Cup.
