The Guaynabo Mets scored a come-from-behind victory over the Arecibo Captains on Tuesday to improve to 2-0 their win-loss record in Pool A of the quarterfinals of the Puerto Rican Men’s Superior League.

The Mets erased a 0-2 deficit and went on to win 17-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 15-12. Arecibo dropped their mark to 1-1.
Jackson Rivera and Edwin Montaño were the best scorers of the winners with 19 and 17 points, respectively. Robert Muñiz topped all the scorers in the match with 23 points while Hector “Picky” Soto had 18 in the loss.
It was the only match of the quarterfinals.
