Josephson, who has been the head coach of the Trinity Western University’s men’s volleyball team, the Spartans, since 2007 will take over as head coach of the Canada Men’s National Team. He will not take the office right away but in April 2022. Thus, he will be replacing legendary expert Glenn Hoag, who commanded Canada Men for 13 years split into two terms (2006-2016 and 2018-2021).

Josephson has won five U SPORTS Championships (the Canadian counterpart to the U.S. NCAA) with Trinity Western University. He has been named U SPORTS Coach of the Year three times. Josephson is expected to coach the national team until, at least, the end of the Paris Olympics in 2024.
