Academia José Moreira/FC Porto (also known as AJM/FC Porto) became Portuguese volleyball club champions of female seniors for the second time in a row.

Beating record championship titleholders (17 titles) Leixões SC by 3-1 (36-34, 25-14, 26-28, 25-19) in the deciding 5th final playoff encounter of the 2021/22 Liga LIDL, AJM/FC Porto sealed their second national title in a row and lifted the second trophy in 2021/22, after having lifted the Super Cup. These two sides met 10 times this season and Porto prevailed, counting today’s smatch, 6 times.

Colombian Ana Karina Gamboa was the best scorer of Game 5 on the winning side with 22 points. The 21-year-old Brazilian Janaína Vieira served as many as 9 aces! Her compatriot Adriani Joaquim made 5 blocks.
