In a thrilling showdown at the Sports Hall in Kruševac, Vojvodina’s volleyball team clinched their 13th Serbian Super Cup title, besting the reigning champions, Partizan Efbet, with a 3-1 set victory. The intense match was marked by set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, and 25-19, with a total duration of 118 minutes.
Hailing from Novi Sad, the young Vojvodina squad has impressively secured their fifth Super Cup trophy, putting them neck-to-neck with Red Star in the all-time winners’ tally. On the other hand, Partizan holds onto the singular Super Cup title they won the previous year.
Luka Stanković was undoubtedly the star of the evening for Vojvodina, recording a remarkable 20 points to his name.
From Partizan’s side, Milija Mrdak stood out with 14 points, while Luka Tadić added 11 to the tally.
With this win, Vojvodina once again stakes their claim as one of Serbia’s volleyball powerhouses, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
