The city of Ankara is decorated with over 100 large posters and billboards inviting fans to the splendid Baskent volleyball hall to share the atmosphere of the Olympics.
Well over 7000 friends of the sport are expected to fill the stands on each competition day.
The home girls have been well motivated by so many promotional activities before the first whistle.
Radio programs, TV shows, news articles and advertisement programs featuring their performance on court, large posters of each player, big dinners and parties constitute just some of the promotional activities performed by the organizers before the start of the big show.
110 volunteers will invest their energy to ensure the smooth and successful running of the competition. Many of them have expressed their feelings of happiness and excitement to be an essential part of this event and cannot wait for it to finally get started.
Over 100 representatives of the media from many different countries, including China and Japan, are expected to attend this qualification tournament and provide worldwide coverage for those fans not lucky enough to make it in person to Baskent hall in Ankara.
