After the short interview with Carina Ocasio, the same Chinese TV station has made an interview with Manon Flier, also a player of Fuijan. Firstly, journalist asked Manon why she chose volleyball as her job, and not something else.
“I started playing volleyball when I was 8 years old I just liked it. I have never had a plan to become a professional volleyball player when I grow up. But one thing led to the other and I remained in this sport. It is nice if you can make your hobby to be your job” said Flier.
She also stated that she can’t give any predictions about the current season in China.
“I don’t really know the league. I have just got familiar with the competition format. With the age we have in our team we can still grow. We have chances, but it is hard for me to tell at this point if we have chances to win the league.”
