Italian player helped Shanghai to win the title in domestic championship after three years of pause. Chinese media wrote that his professional attitude was simply impressive. Savani has fought for every ball and that he had no ups and downs. The text says that he was a true leader of Shanghai and that he deserved the MVP award.
Shen Qiong, head coach of Shanghai, was obviously voted as the best coach of the season, while Zhang Zhejia was named the best newcomer.
