The 24-year old middle blocker was a member of Belgian Junior national team, but she has always dreamed of playing in Polish national team.
The head coach of Poland Jacek Nawrocki talked to her at the end of the last season about her wish to play for Poland.
“When you are choosing the team, you have some goals that you want to reach, but when you are choosing the national team, you are doing it with your heart” says Sobolska.
She has desire, Poland wants her as well, but now Belgian side is giving some resistance to this decision. They say that Poland should pay for this “transfer” but the last word will be given by the FIVB.
Nawrocki hopes that Sobolska will be in the team in January 2016, when the Polish national team will fight for the ticket at the Olympic qualifying tournament.
