The American opposite left the Chinese club to join preparations of the US National Team for the NORCECA Qualification Tournament for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The United States will host the tournament in the city of Lincoln (January 7-9, 2016) with the participation of their national team and teams of the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Before Fawcett left Fujian on December 22, they had five defeats in a row in Top 8 phase. Afterwards, Fujian suffered three more and have 0-8 record without a chance to secure playoff spot.
