COL W: Colombia to host World Grand Prix matches for the first time ever

Carlos Grisales, the President of the Colombia’s Volleyball Federation, confirmed that the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) made a decision which is historical for this sport in his country.

“For the first time in history, Colombia will host the World Grand Prix,” he announced via his Facebook profile.

Colombian city of Cali and “Evangelista Mora” gymnasium will organize matches of Pool C3 (Group 3) of annual event of the FIVB with participation of Colombia, Mexico, Australia and Kazakhstan.

Grisales also confirmed that two major names of Colombia’s National Team, the libero Camila Gómez and opposite hitter Madelaynne Montaño, will join the squad for these games.
