Our Poll regarding winners of the prestigious annual volleyball tournament, the 2016 FIVB World League, made you think and assess several world superpowers, so you have chosen one as your biggest favorite – Poland.

Polish National Team got 33.3% of your votes. Italy are the second best favorites by WorldofVolley readers with 18.3%. Surprisingly, a current title holders France are third with 12.1%.

It means that WoV fans think that powerhouses USA, Brazil and Russia, will not climb to the podium on July 17 in Kraków, Poland where the Final Tournament will be held.

Anyway, the World League sets off today, on June 16, with a clash between Brazil and Iran. This match might already confirm or deny opinion of WorldofVolley visitors…

Poland has good chance to win the world league since they are the host of the final round and i don’t think other teams like Russia or Brazil take this tournament so seriously. It will be like 2012 where Poland won the world league but i am sure they have no chance in the Olympics even to make it to the semi finals
