After a close start (4:4), Bulgaria scored seven consecutive points to set the tone of the game in the first set (11:4) and finish it off with an impressive 25-14.
The second set was a little closer as Bulgaria played without their star Elitsa Vasileva, currently injured, but still could go for a 25-18.
Tanya Sabkova stood out for Bulgaria in the third set where Latvia could not find any way to resist to their opponents’ attack and the game was rounded out with a speedy 25-10.
