Romania opened the second day of action in Rovinj with another speedy win, this time by edging Great Britain in straight sets (25-21, 25-17, and 25-17) to wait for the last game against Croatia to finally book their pass for the 2013 European Championship.

“We know that tomorrow we’ll have our toughest game so we used the matches with Portugal and Great Britain to get well ready for this challenge” said Romania’s team captain Florentina Nedelcu.
“Motivation was not our problem; we are a little disappointed because we believed we could win, but we made it easy for our opponents” stated Team GB leader Lynne Beattie.
