The young middle blocker who is already a member of the Serbian A National team, Maja Aleksić became a new player of Volei Alba Blaj.
This will be her first season abroad and until now she played for Vizura Beograd, perennial champions of Serbian Superleague.
European vice-champions now have three Serbian players for the upcoming season: Mariya Karakasheva, Sonja Newcombe, Suzana Ćebić, Katerina Zhidkova, Lucie Smutná, Sara Hutinski Torres, Ioana Baciu, Lora Kitipova, Maja Aleksić and Ana Lazarević.
