Polish head coach Andrea Anastasi pointed out, after he let Łomacz to return to his club, that LOTOS Trefl setter must stay ready and that maybe he will be re-invited to the national team training camp.
His words quickly came true. Łukasz Żygadło has minor health problems and Łomacz re-appeared and replaced him in Spała.
It is not known how serious is the injury of Zenit Kazan’s player and how long the captain of “yellow-and-black” team will replace him.
In connection with the planned Łomacz’s return in Trefl’s training last Friday, Pawel Woicki ended his episode in the team from Gdańsk. So, currently the only setter in LOTOS Trefl’s squad is 19-year-old Przemysław Stępień.
